WOW! Breakaway was absolutely wonderful. We had 21 sr high students and 7 leaders that traveled to beautiful Trout Lake in Pine River, MN. The theme of the week was Faith Like a Child--so we played games that many of us played when we were children as well as challenged to have faith like the little children whom Jesus blessed. To top off an already wonderful time with students, our kids won the hugely popular Breakaway Football Championship--first time for FBC. Above all, our desire was to encounter God in a fresh way and have Him mold us more into becoming like His Son. And a big thanks goes out to all the leaders and students who help make this weekend one to remember. I loved it!

Trout is such a great place. It's awesome to here the weekend was a blast.... and well done with the Football tournament. Way to step up after the Junior High came home with the Volleyball Tounament win and started talking trash (Kubie).

Hey youth group! I just looked at all of the pictures from Breakaway...it really looks like you guys had a lot of fun! I miss Trout Lake Camp so much. Judy is right...that place is a blessing from God. What a wonderful place we can all come together as youth followers of Christ. I keep thinking of you all and miss you! I've been praying for you too and the whole youth ministry at church.
Love you guys,
Hannah
